At Del Mar Hills Academy, we are fortunate to have a generous parent and vibrant school community that provides the time, energy and creativity to help make our school a special place. The PTA is proud to partner with the Del Mar Schools Education Foundation (DMSEF) to raise money to fill the gap between public funding and the needs of our young SurfRiders.
The DMSEF representatives at Del Mar Hills Academy schedule activities in the spring so as not to interfere with your participation in fall PTA fundraising. Working together, it is our goal to provide your children an amazing place to spend their elementary school years.
The DMSEF has a district wide goal of raising $2 million to ensure a full STEAM+ program for all DMUSD students. An $800 contribution per child is recommended to provide science, music, art, technology and P.E. programs at each school in our district. This amount can be paid in monthly installments throughout the school year, or using corporate matching funds from your employer. Our annual Jog-A-Thon is a great way to enhance your contribution to the DMSEF. If you would like to help with the efforts of the DMSEF, please contact your parent volunteer representatives.
